WELCOME TO SACRED PATHS FARM!
“…ere long the most valuable of all arts will be the art of deriving a comfortable subsistence from the smallest area of soil. No community whose every member possesses this art can ever be the victim of oppression in any of its forms.” -Abraham Lincoln 1859

Formerly known as Santa’s Acres Christmas Tree Plantation, Sacred Paths Farm is nestled in the Sierra Nevada Foothills in Camino, California. We are an organic farm, that has been family owned and operated since 1965. Our farm started as a Christmas Tree Plantation with the first generation; the dream and creation of Harold and Dorthea Engstrom. Now the business is in operation by the 3rd generation, Matt and Stephanie Sorensen. We changed the name to Sacred Paths Farm because of our direction; organic biodynamically grown vegetables, herbs and flowers. We sell our produce and goods at local Farmer’s Markets and through a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program. We also sell at our roadside stand open daily through the growing season. This year we are excited to be leasing an apple orchard. It is an organic, and pesticide-free site. We’ll have an abundance of Golden Delicious, Pink Lady, Fuji, and Granny Smith!

MAY THEY ALL BE LOOKED UPON AS SACRED
We chose the name Sacred Paths Farm, for we believe that growing food is a “sacred path”; Farming is the path that we have chosen as our purpose and gift, to share with our family, our community, and the planet we all inhabit.

We are blessed to have the opportunity to live and work on the family land and do what we love. With this opportunity, we are creating a sacred place in our gardens for all to experience. We are simply; an organic and self sustaining family farm. Support local farmers and organic growers; sustaining families, communities and the earth.
